You cannot travel to UAE if your passport bears a single name

A new travel update from the Middle Eastern country of UAE is that if you are having a single name on your passport you will be denied entry to the United Arab Emirates.

‘Any passenger with a single name on their passport will not be allowed to travel to or from the UAE’ says a new travel guideline from the country.

This rule will apply to all kinds of travel including work and travel.

According to the authorities, your both first and last name should be declared in the travel document.

However, if you have a single name and have a residence permit or an employment visa, in that case, travel will be allowed as long as the single name is updated on the passport as both first and last name.
