Washington DC to be fully open from the month of June

The national capital of the USA, Washington DC has announced that they would fully open from the month of June and the city is planning to lift more capacity from June 11 onwards. “We will be able to all turn up activity in the District all the way.” said, Mayor Muriel Bowser.

Starting May 21, the city will remove the capacity restrictions on Gyms and Restaurants however, bars and nightclubs will maintain a capacity of 50% and according to local news, sports venues, national parks will be encouraged to welcome more visitors.

Apart from this, the city has announced cash prizes worth $25000 to attract tourists and experience the city’s free museums, restaurants, and monuments. The winners would be announced throughout June.

George Washington’s Mount Vernon, Ford’s Theatre, and the International Spy Museum which are prominent tourist attractions located in the city of Washington DC have already been open to tourists.

On May 14, other prominent tourist attraction sites such as the National Gallery of Art, National Portrait Gallery, and National Museum of African American History and Culture also reopened after months of closure.

Apart from this, live music concerts have been scheduled at iconic locations such as the Black Cat and the John F. Kennedy Center.
