According to the new rules in the kingdom of UAE, one should be vaccinated against Covid-19 in order to attend live events and the country is pushing vaccinations for spectators interested in culture, sports, arts, and events from June 06.
Additionally, one needs to show a Negative Covid-19 RT-PCR test certificate which means being vaccinated against covid is not enough, the negative RT-PCR test should be taken 48 hours prior to the event. Also, the participants should be vaccinated and report negative RT-PCR test certificates according to the new rules. The event also includes weddings where currently not more than 100 people can attend.
Dubai is one of the tourist destinations in the UAE which is opening for tourists/travelers and getting vaccinated is one of the only way to travel. But this rule does not apply not only to travelers, but also to locals who want to attend live events in the city.
In the UAE, around 78.11 percentage of people have been vaccinated who are above 16 years of age, 84% of people aged above 60 years have been vaccinated and vaccination drive in UAE has been moving at a tremendous speed.
