The famous Taj Mahotsav to begin from March 20.

The spectacular Taj Mahotsav 2022 is all set to be held this year from March 20 to March 29

Held every year, this is a 10-day cultural festival is known for its gourmet, art, culture, and craft festival.

Earlier, the Mahotsav was scheduled from February 18 to February 27 but had to be rescheduled due to assembly expected polls in Uttar Pradesh.

While providing the information of the postponement, Deputy Director of Uttar Pradesh Tourism, RK Rawat, stated that due to the ongoing assembly polls, the annual fair of Taj Mahotsav has been postponed. However, the preparations have been in full swing for the fair, all set to happen from March 20.

If reports go by, the event started in 1992 with a primary aim to promote creative art and encourage local craftmanship and showcase their respective skills.
During this occasion, various cultural performances by national and international famed artists are witnessed, which makes this one a must-visit Mahotsav to visit.

Dates: Revised dates from March 20 to March 29. 

Timings: 10:00 – 22:00hrs as per the official website of Uttar Pradesh Tourism.

Venue: The event will be held at Shilpgram, a well-known crafts village in Agra. 

Ticket price: Adults will have to buy a ticket priced at INR 40. A group of 100 school students can get an entry priced at INR 500. Children below five years of age and foreigners can enter the Taj Mahotsav for free.
