One of the nearest national parks from Bengaluru is Bandipur National Park which is a famed place for Elephants, Tigers, etc.
I recently had a visit to Bandipur and during my visit, I stayed at a chic yet amazing place called Dhole’s Den.
To say, Dhole’s Den is not a hotel it is a comfortable and warm homestay started by 2 people who are ardent dog lovers. Dhole’s Den is a registered homestay under the Government of Karnataka and this place surely loves dogs. Dhole’s den is home to a breed of dogs called Chippiparai.
The name of the place is derived from Dhole, an Asiatic Endangered Wild Dogs which are also found in Bandipur.
Dhole’s Den is a spacious, well lit and nature loving property which when I visited I explored the location which has combined nature with the location. This place has wall paintings, stone carvings, murals, paintings in a natural format.
The stay of this place is also elegant rooms which are named Habitat Rooms, Garden Mansion, and Mountain Paradise. All of these locations offer elegant views of Nilgiris, Bandipur, and Madhumalai National Parks. All the rooms are well furnished, spacious, well lit with King size beds. It is well connected via a Large Balcony.
The property provides meals at dedicated times so that you would not miss out on something special in the name of food. Explore the wilderness of Bandipur and stay amidst greenery at Dhole’s Den. The accommodation is affordably priced and as I mentioned this is not your normal hotel, but a homestay you feel home away from home during your stay here at Dhole’s Den.
