Staycation at ITC Windsor in Bengaluru

As being a fully vaccinated person, I planned my visit to various places in Karnataka. Although the season of autumn is best to visit hilly regions of Karnataka, I did not want to take risks hence, I planned my staycation in and around Bangalore.

And one place that came into my mind during my visit here was ITC Windsor which is a 5 star luxury hotel in Bangalore and its immediate landmark is the Bangalore Golf Club.

ITC Windsor offers luxurious accommodation, an exceptional dining option, meeting venues where on the entry you would be greeted with a 100-year-old rain tree which is one of its presence in the heart of the city of Bangalore.

ITC Windsor is known for its interior design where its architectural and interior design reminds of an old English manor. The luxurious feel which one gets while they notice High ceilings, its rich wood panelling and the wood furniture gives you a sense of luxurious getaways. The staircases here are lit by crystal chandeliers and priceless art décor which from the Georgian and Edwardian era.

ITC Windsor is a certified LEED Platinum rated hotel which practices environmental stewardship and it is said to be a certified LEED Zero Carbon rated hotel. ITC sources ingredients from their local farm, the water here is recycled and reused to prevent wastage and its electrical requirement is provided with their self-owned wind farms and hence it provides the required luxury for its guests with minimum harm to its environment.

The hotel offers elegant Cuisine which can only be found here. The cuisine is inspired by Anglo- Lucknawi where they use Indian spices and colonial ingredients which gel well when infused together. Other restaurants here are inspired by the North-west frontiers, southern states of India, all-day dining is inspired by Lalbagh botanical garden glasshouse, authentic pub-like culture, and a chocolate boutique which is ITC’s own, chocolate heaven.

For ones well being, ITC hotels have an indigenous spa, a salon, fitness centre, swimming pool and many such facilities. There is radiation harmonization which is a patented specialised technology that offers protection against geopathic radiation and manmade radiation. This thus offers a healthy stay for its guests. All rooms of ITC are designed with extensive scientific research to ensure customers get the required sleep where they have undertaken measures such as pillow menu, black-out window screens, a ‘Sleeep Box’, special sleep-inducing menus and more.

During my stay here, I experienced the thorough luxury that ITC offers and it was a memorable experience to stay at this legendary hotel.
