With the covid vaccine drive going across the world, the travel sector is quite hopeful that people would resume travel soon. With this, many countries are now opening for travel and are updating entry requirements for vaccinated travelers. And speaking about this, the latest one to join the list is Seychelles.
As per the latest reports, Seychelles could be the first country that has achieved herd immunity, and it thanks vaccines from UAE and India.
Recently, we wrote a blog on how Seychelles is planning to open for tourists and people from all nations except South Africa. This comes as a piece of good news for Seychelles as they are heavily dependent on tourism.
For now, travelers need to undergo quarantine upon arrival in a designated hotel and this might not be required from March 25 onwards.
Visitors to this beautiful island nation of Seychelles will just be required to book accommodation in one of the 700 certified tourism establishments which the list will be received soon. Reports said that as long as the accommodation in this establishments is booked, no travel restrictions will be imposed.
Seychelles will be open to tourists from all countries (except South Africa) as long as tourists have taken both doses of vaccine. This country is visited by tourists due to numerous coral reefs, beaches, and natural beauty.
Tourists who need to visit this beautiful location need to upload a vaccine certificate on the country’s travel authorization portal before you venture out.
