Seychelles lifts ban on Indian Travellers

One of the beautiful island nations of Seychelles is now open to all the countries including India. 

 Referring to this, the Ministry of Health, Seychelles announced that irrespective of vaccination status the country will welcome international tourists. 

As per the reports, Seychelles International Airport is now open to all scheduled commercial flights, however, travellers should show proof of negative RT-PCR tests taken 72 hours prior to departure.

Seychelles was open to visitors irrespective of vaccination status for many countries however earlier travellers who had been in India, Brazil, Nepal, Bangladesh, and Pakistan within the 14 days preceding arrival to Seychelles were restricted which has now been removed.

Travellers who are planning to visit Seychelles need to further require a valid Health Travel Authorization (HTA) for entry, which can be done via the online portal at https://seychelles.govtas.com/.

Reports suggest that all seeking to visit Seychelles would also need to purchase valid Health Insurance that covers minimum COVID-19 testing, quarantine, isolation, and clinical care. And these travellers who fulfil the conditions will neither have to undergo mandatory quarantine, minimum stay or will face any kind of restrictions on the movement of entry into Seychelles.

All those willing to visit Seychelles need to adhere to other public health measures that have been put into place in the view of the pandemic such as Wearing Masks, sanitization, social distancing. Tourists need to book licensed stays that have been certified by Public Health Authority.
