The incipience of summers brings with it sheer exuberance with Mangoes galore! As the temperatures rise, the premier vegetarian thali restaurant gives you a reason to celebrate the finest part of this season – Mangoes!
Beginning my meal with a sweet treat (Swadisht Manwaar), it was Dry Fruit Boondi and Keri Tomato Shorba with Heera Namkeen was served in the first course of the meal. It was a heavenly spread of the flavor is sure to inspire our taste buds.
The next menu was starters (Halka Khana) served on a four-part platter. It consists of four types of appetizers. It was namely Keri Panna, Paneer Tikka, Keri Vegetable Seekh, Wonton, and Corn Keri Tikka. Don’t miss the paneer; which is the show stopper of the platter.
Note: The Paneer’s were brought down from Delhi, top notch!
Later, Chats were served. Mouth-watering and street food sensations Chole Chaat and Mango Samaroh Pani Puri. Lip-smackingly good.
Time for Mukhya Bhoj or Main Course of Aamostav!
A quality of vegetarian delicacies that will play with your taste buds, the pride of place on the menu. From Masala Jeera Chhas to Dal Makhani, Paneer Tikka Masala to Mirchiwale Kofte to Dal Tadka supplements a spirited twist to your taste buds.
Four types of subzis, a flavourful dal, Dahi Gunjiya, and raita served with Aam Ras, Dum Aloo Mutter, Roti’s and Veg Pulao, Curd Rice, Cooked Rice, etc.
Aamras or Keri no Ras is a delicious pulp of mangoes made in every Gujarati’s home during the mango season. Traditionally aamras is served with puri aka aamras puri. Heavenly feeling!
All meals have to end with desserts. Coming to deserts aka Rochak Mithai! I enjoyed Mitha Kulfi, Rabdi Malpua, Mango Chum Chum and Pantua.
That’s it! My tummy was filled 🙂
Samaroh a delightful dining experience. The best North Indian meal I’ve had in Bangalore and everything was top notch.
Fact: Samaroh was awarded the Best Vegetarian Restaurant at the Times Food and Nightlife Awards 2016.
