The All Season’s State of Himachal Pradesh will be open to tourists and according to the report, the government has decided that there is no requirement for RT-PCR test to enter the state. Additionally, the cabinet has also decided the curfew will remain in place which is from 17:00 – 05:00hrs.

A decision has also been undertaken to increase shop timings from 09:00 – 17:00hrs which will be effective from June 14 onwards. The shops, however, will be closed on weekends as the weekend curfew will remain in place.

The cabinet has also decided to lift off section 144 and intrastate public transportation will be allowed with 50% capacity. With this, many tourists and also the local population can travel but it is advised to travel with precautionary measures in place.

To keep Himachal Pradesh safe for tourists and the local population, the state government has been advised to follow the strict COVID guidelines laid down by the Department of Tourism, Ministry, and Home Affairs.

The Gyms, auditoriums, and swimming pools which are within hotel premises are asked to be closed as per the Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s) from the government.

A spokesperson from State Government has said,  “All medical colleges, ayurvedic colleges, and dental colleges will open from June 23. Pharmacy and nursing schools will open from June 28, and now there will be no requirement of RT-PCR negative tests for entering the state.”
