Oasia Hotel Novena Singapore Experience | #MacroTraveller

Located in the lovely enclave of the Novena district, Oasia Hotel Novena is a premier business hotel that offers distinctively elegant accommodations in its 428 guestrooms. With direct basement access to the Novena MRT Station, the shopping district of Orchard is easily accessible by public transportation. There are shopping malls, restaurants and supermarkets downstairs in the hotel, and the living functions are very good.

Check in and check out are very efficient. You can spend a pleasant holiday at the hotel in three healthy ways – Refresh, Refuel, and Recharge. Refresh with quality rest in a comfortable, peaceful and rejuvenating environment, Refuel with modern bistro cuisine at The Marmalade Pantry at Level 1, and Recharge at the 24-hour gym and steam room, or take a dip at Level 8 swimming pool.

Incredible Room!

Superior rooms are located on the 9th to 12th floors. A total of 88 superior rooms are tastefully decorated with Asian touches and contemporary design. From the bay window overlooking the corner, you can enjoy the outside view. The rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable, and the electric curtains are opaque, even if you sleep until noon! The service staff is cordial and courteous. The rooms have air conditioning, a 49-inch LEDTV, floor-to-ceiling windows with city views. There is also coffee and tea making facilities, a cordless phone, an iPod docking system, wired and wireless internet access. The frosted, fully floor-to-ceiling glass separates the bedroom from the bathroom, and the bedroom has a double bed. The bathroom has a walk-in shower, vanity mirror, hairdryer and free toiletries. There is also a pool and spa, the central hotel has a pool and gym, and the hotel’s restaurant is excellent.

Food and Dining!

The Club Lounge was really what made MacroTraveller’s stay a lot more fun. The food was delicious, and the coffee remains to rank amongst the best. The Lounge beautifully decorated with very relaxing and lively furniture. There was a good variety of food served during breakfast and evening cocktail. A good variety of alcohols and cocktails served as well. Not enough Indian food but you can get other cuisine foods.

The Marmalade Pantry: The well-loved home-grown brand serves quality comfort food, in an equally refreshing environment that puts diners and guests at ease. Oasia’s extensive in-room dining menu and delightful breakfast buffet spread are also designed and provided by The Marmalade Pantry. I ate breakfast, lunch, and dinner in the restaurant & enjoyed all the food especially the local dishes. The food served was more presentable, and the service from the staff was excellent. I loved Singaporean snacks and cakes very much.

Pool– an Ideal retreat from the city’s activities! I liked the pool area especially the heated jacuzzi! But, they need to think about having better food/snacks options available? We get hungry, after chilling by the pool the whole afternoon and would be great to stay by the pool for a meal.

Gym– Was cozy and equipped. There were face towels, water bottles available for us. We went there early morning, and it was a great place to work out. The gym is open round-the-clock for you to recharge whenever you like.

Steam and Sauna Room– Treat your body to therapeutic high heat to detox or simply step inside to soothe your nerves and relax your muscles.

Novena is a great option for travelers interested in universal studios, food, and clean places. I was incredibly touched by the sincerity of the manager and effort of staff! The hotel surpassed my expectations, regarding rooms, food, and service. Overall, such a rejuvenating experience. Wish I could stay for a day more! I will come back for sure. Highly recommended!
