From refined and local pleasures of royal Indian traditions to the delectable flavors of the West and the Far East, all paired with an extensive collection of the most excellent beverages, the gourmet offerings at ITC Kohenur promise an inspiring culinary experience, matched by warm, personalized and efficient service.
ITC’s signature brand of culinary excellence is exhibited in the six distinct food and beverage destinations including the acclaimed Dum Pukht in a new avatar; Begum’s showcasing influences from the Royal kitchens of Hyderabad. ITC Kohenur will also house Yi Jing, a new brand from ITC, featuring Classic and Creative Chinese cuisine. The 4th edition of the group’s pan-Italian brand, Ottimo will complement the Skypoint Bar on the rooftop, offering a picturesque view of the Hyderabad skyline.
Their all-day dining restaurant Golconda Pavilion serves a superb breakfast which is luxurious and fantastic with a wide choice of specialties from around the world – my favorite was the bakery section. Golconda Pavilion, the 24*7 restaurant will showcase inventive international cuisine along with a significant ‘Local Love’ repertoire feature Telangana and Andhra favorites.
Though the glory days of the Raj are gone, their spirit and cuisines live on at Dum Pukht. I visited the Dum Pukht restaurant at the newly opened ITC KOHENUR for a four-course dinner. It was one of the best experiences I have had at a hotel in Hyderabad. The ambiance was truly luxurious, the Indian / Mughlai cuisine authentic and delicious. With the best part being the Double ka Meetha! They’re not just redefining Indian food but bringing back classics and authenticity. Coming to desserts, they ultimately take you out of this world. Loved everything in here!
I tried Yi Jing too. Yi Jing presents a unique ‘sonnet’ of tastes & textures that provides an exquisite contemporary culinary interpretation of Chinese Culture. It was specially curated Chinese menu. The various ingredients and authentic spices provide a relishing taste to the diners. Had a super time with this bunch of travel and food enthusiasts! Check out the Yi Jing Chinese restaurant – the food is divine! I’m looking forward to dining at the Indian and Italian restaurants as well!
ITC Kohenur is the jewel crown of HYDERABAD. Highly recommended for people of all ages. Rooted. To the soil of the historic city. It has a beautiful Chandelier made up of locally handcrafted lad bangles. The whole hotel shines like the mighty diamonds.
