Kedarnath Temple is all set to open from May 06.

Recently, it has been announced that the famous Kedarnath Temple will open this year for a brief from May 06 at 06:25 AM. As per the reports, a brief religious ceremony was held at the Omkareshwar Temple on the auspicious occasion of Maha Shivratri. And after the celebration, the date and time of opening the temple was announced.


Referring to this, Harish Gaud from the Badri-Kedar temple committee announced that the temple gates would be opened on Vrishchik Lagna. During this announcementKedarnath chief priest Rawal Bhimashankar Ling and Badri-Kedar Mandir Samiti president Ajendra Ajay were also present on the said occasion.


During the snowbound conditions in the area, the Omkareshwar temple of Ukhimath is where Kedarnath is worshipped during the winters, and the Himalayan temple remains closed due to harsh weather.


The temple official also added that the panchmukhi (five-faced) idol of Lord Shiva would be leaving in an ornate palanquin decorated with flowers from the Omkareshwar temple here for Kedarnath on May 02.
