Jammu and Kashmir to restart online registration for tourism

One of the popular locations in India, Jammu & Kashmir has now restarted its online registration system for tourism. Sarmad Hafiz, the Tourism, Culture, Youth Service & Sports Secretary of J&K finally restarted online services by clicking a button and giving registration to 2 tourism unitholders.

This online registration portal is user-friendly, dynamic and it will help to smoothen the process of registration to a great extent.

This online registration is basically for a tourism unitholder who can apply to Jammu & Kashmir tourism under J&K Tourism Act 1978/2011 where the unitholder needs to log into the website and submit the required documents as per the checklist mentioned on the website.

Upon registration, the application will be verified by the authorities and later an inspection will be done. Once the inspection is done, the tourism unitholder will be issued a registration certificate.

This registration process is done to safeguard tourists visiting J&K and the registration wing of the J&K tourism department is responsible for enforcing provisions for the act.

Travel Agencies, Dealers, Hotels are some of the travel units which can apply for registration.
