IRCTC offers Work from Hotel packages in Kerala

Bored of Work From home which has been a new normal in work culture then head over to the IRCTC website which is now offering Work From Hotel packages.

Work from Hotel Packages by IRCTC provides professionals with soothing and refreshing ambiance in hotel rooms of Kerala which acts as an alternative to ‘work from home’ set up said a statement on the website.

This is a part of Railways catering and tourism arm effort to increase confidence among guests to set out and experience travel post covid world said IRCTC.

The package includes triple occupancy for 5 nights which starts at 10,126 INR and includes 3 meals, two times tea/coffee, complimentary Wi-Fi, secured parking place for a vehicle, and travel insurance.

“In the ongoing lockdown period, Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation Ltd (IRCTC) has launched exclusive packages for professionals to continue with their work with a different yet refreshing and soothing ambiance from the comfort of hotel rooms, wherein they can relax and enjoy along with their routine,” said a statement.

Continuing the statement, it said, “Working away from the typical office setting has become the new normal during these pandemic times. Professionals can pick their favorite destination in Kerala among the list of hotels offered under the ‘work from hotel’ concept.”

Currently, tourists can opt for hotels in Munnar, Thekkady, Kumarakom, Marari (Alleppey), Kovalam, Wayanad, and Cochin and the duration of the package would be a minimum of 5 nights which can be extended on prorate basis.

Similarly, other packages are being explored. “Stringent COVID safety protocols and high standard of hygiene is maintained. The packages can be booked online through the IRCTC website or IRCTC tourism mobile apps – android and IOS,” was mentioned in the statement.

Keeping the Covid-19 situation in mind, IRCTC has designed this package where there is no option for sightseeing and only work from hotel option.
