Google’s latest re-launched product, called Google Pixel. Pixel is a smartphone that is designed to replace the Google Nexus. At first sight, the Google Pixel XL (5.5-inch display) against the standard model pixel (5-inch) is mainly due to its size. With its dimensions (154.7×75.7×8.5 millimeters) it feels somewhat clumsy, cannot keep up with the much flatter iPhone 7 Plus (7.1 millimeters) just in width (8.5 millimeters). Thanks to the matte metal housing it is comfortable and non-slip in hand.
Google also seems to spend a lot of time in the design section. Google Pixel unibody which carries the rear cover is not removable. When viewing a large letter G logo on the back cover Pixel, this concept reminds me of the LG V20, where LG is also doing the same thing.
The volume buttons and the power button is Google Pixel XL on the right side, while the Nano SIM card slot located on the left side. Earphone jack port located on the top left side. At the bottom, you’ll find two speakers that accompany the USB port of type C placed in the middle.
At the front of Google, Pixel XL backed with a screen measuring 5.5 inches. You will not find a physical home button or the back button. All of the navigation buttons are displayed visually on the screen directly. In the upper part of the screen, the camera parallel to the front left side speaker sound. The rating is based on rank to measure the resistance of a cell phone against water. Google Pixel comes with the IP53 rating. The smartphone is not waterproof or water resistant.
To ensure the performance of Pixel XL smoothly without jams when used for weight, though, Google completes this smartphone with 2:16 GHz Quad Core processor and Qualcomm MSM8996 Snapdragon chipset 1.Ghz 821. For business graphics, pixel indeed can display 3D images to screens well and precisely thank GPU Adreno 530 series.
Google Pixel XL uses Li-ion battery that cannot be overhauled with a capacity of 3450 mAh. The battery can last for 32 hours when used for receiving and making calls, 14 hours of WiFi activity, and 14 hours for the purpose of playing and viewing videos. Same with Pixel, XL also use Quick Charging system.
When the battery exhausted, then thanks to USB type C, you can charge from 0 percent to 100 percent in a faster time. Even after 15 minutes of charging, Pixel XL can persist for more than 7 hours.
The real innovation of pixel smartphones is the firmed Google services, especially the Google Assistant. You start by voice command (“Ok Google”) or by long pressing the virtual home button at the bottom of the screen. And, in fact, the language control is improved, and the Google Assistant has been able to handle hands-on tasks in most everyday tasks. The wizard is firmly integrated into the new pixel user interface by Android 7.1, starts as required other apps, for example, to conjure music from a band from YouTube, after whose concert dates have just been searched.
Google Pixel XL is the first Android-based gadget powered by Google Assistant feature.
Android Nougat also has undergone some significant reforms. These changes ensure OS Nougat be more secure from bugs that allow the virus to intrusion or attack the system that could be potentially dangerous and harmful cell phone users.
Display: A dream for eyes and VR!
Google puts Pixel XL on an AMOLED screen – as the eyes of smartphone fanatics. But as brilliant as it may sound, the display doesn’t quite meet the high standards. The colour representation cannot match the S7 Edge and Apple’s iPhone 7 Plus. Surprisingly, the contrast drops evenly for AMOLED conditions, is almost at the LCD level and far from the visual effect of a Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge. At these points, the smaller pixel model cuts off similarly. In contrast, the viewer’s size and sharpness are different.
For anyone who wants to use a smartphone in the Daydream VR glasses presented parallel with the pixel smartphones, the visibly sharper Pixel XL is the clearly better variant. Pixel XL equipped with a wide screen of 5.5-inch Quad HD AMOLED technology. Display Pixel XL certainly capable of displaying 2560 x 1440 resolution images with excellent, sharp, and clear. To protect against scratches, there is Corning Gorilla Glass 4.
Too bad: Memory cards cannot be used. The memory is internally 32 and 128 gigabytes. Especially for 4K video recordings, one should take the larger model, unless you deviate on Google Photos.
Google Pixel Camera Review! Elegant 12.3MP shooter with HDR+
Powered by 12.3MP primary camera with phase detection autofocus (PDAF), laser detection autofocus (LDAF),4K (30 fps) video capture, HD 240 fps (8x) and full HD 120 fps (4x) slow motion video, CRI-90 dual-LED flash and 8MP front facing camera. Default activates HDR+ Auto, and even if you choose to switch it off, it reverts to Auto when you open the app again.
According to Google and Dxomark is the Pixel “the smartphone with the best camera so far” and despite comparatively light-weighted aperture (f 2/0 instead of 1/8 in the iPhone 7 Plus) also low-noise photos shoot at the little light.
The pixel camera provides excellent images on the day, under favorable lighting conditions. In low light, the images are quite dull but best from the rest. The Google Pixel XL is among the best, and it apparently is the best when it comes to low-light photography thanks to the HDR+ mode!
