Food Experience at Antares Goa

An experience of Australia in India, Antares Restaurant is the brainchild of Masterchef Australia Season 6 finalist, Sarah Todd. Located on the shoreline of Vagator, Antares is one of the top restaurants to visit and have some amazing food here. Antares goa is back with some updated designs after it was destroyed by a huge fire in January this year. We can now visit this modern upscale restaurant designed by Sarah Todd herself. We can now notice the beach shack vibe with white and green interiors. Antares a 250 seater alfresco restaurant and resort in Goa is a must-visit due to its amalgamation of Indian and Australian cuisines where you can expect the dishes which are best of both countries. With its aspiring views of the Indian Ocean, guests here can enjoy the perfect sunset while they are enjoying their food and drinks.

The food here is simple yet tasteful which the taste is derived from fresh ingredients, exotic spices, classic cooking techniques, and added flavor via the charcoal grill. The veggies and other ingredients are sourced locally which are organic and pesticide-free which makes the food healthy and flavourful. The beach club here at Antares, Vagator is a most happening place where you find lavish day bed, woodfired pizza, and a refreshing cocktail while you listen to international music played by renowned DJs. Here you can find people grooving to music beachside and enjoying a drink or two.

The food at Antares is a must thing to do once you visit this renowned restaurant. Incorporating world cuisine along with Indian cuisine, Antares offers Salads such as Kale & Cranberry, Smoked Chicken salad, etc. Both vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes are available, for small eats vegetarian you will get Croquettes, Bruschetta, Rissois, etc and non-vegetarian you will get BBQ Chicken, Calamari, Quesadilla, etc. For Grilled items, you will get Potato, Paneer for Vegetarian and Shrimp, Chicken, Lamb Kebab for non-vegetarian. For large plates you can order Vegetable stew, Gourd curry depending on the gourd available, prawn curry, lamb curry, etc. You can order Kinds of pasta and Risottos here where you have a variety of option spaghetti/penne pasta with choice of sauce and topping. Both vegetarian pizzas are available here where you have an option like Seasonal Veggies, mushroom, pepperoni, chicken, lamb, etc. Ending your meal with dessert where you are provided with Ice Cream, Fresh fruit platter or Coconut Panna Cotta.

For a beachside restaurant, we notice Antares does not lag in providing their guests with a choice of alcohol, like local Fenny, Beer to hard drinks like Gin, Whiskey, Wine (both Indian and International), Spirits, Single Malt, IMFL, Rum, Vodka, Tequila, Liqueurs, etc. For people who do not like to drink alcohol, they can choose Signature Cocktails and chef recommended cocktails that are worth a try. Or you can order a fruit punch, soft beverages, etc. It is recommended to try out the chef specialty cocktails and mocktails as they often curated by best bartenders and it tastes amazing since the first sip.

In conclusion, after the huge fire which destroyed Antares, we notice it is back once again with bigger and better interiors which makes it a worth visit while your visit to Goa especially Vagator.
