Dubai starts to issue the visa for more countries

One of the popular tourist destinations in the Middle East, Dubai has now started to issue tourist visa for people of more countries and yes, it includes India.  However, as Dubai has started issuing the visa, the country from where the traveller will be departure need to wait until the flight service begins.

Owing to the pandemic, Dubai had stopped issuing tourist visa beginning March, and now that the city is opening up with many new rules in places like safety stamp to hotels and tourist destinations where tourists can dine without the fear of being unhygienic.

Starting Wednesday, the General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs (GDRFA) in Dubai has started issuing visas for all nationalities except a few. “Applications are now received but it will take some time before approval is issued,” an employee said. “For the tourist visas, applicants must apply at the tourism agencies.” Said a tourist agency.

The issue of visa will be delayed as the offices will be closed on Friday due to Eid and will reopen on Monday.

Travel agency confirmed that the tourist visa is getting approved at General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs including Indian visa request.

All passengers who will be heading to Dubai should mandatorily go through PCR test upon arrival. However, people from select countries should undergo the test twice and people awaiting the result should isolate themselves and irrespective of the result, all tourists should undergo a 14-day quarantine.
