As per the latest reports, it is said that Ayodhya to soon be connected via Bullet Train. Reportedly, the government is chalking out the plan for Delhi-Varanasi route connectivity which also connects various spots such as Mathura, Ayodhya, Varanasi, Prayagraj, Kanpur, Agra, Jewar airport.
The National High-Speed Rail Corporation Ltd (NHSRCL) which holds responsibility for these routes is preparing a detailed report where the train will also connect Lucknow, Etawah, Bhadohi, and Raebareli. As per the reports, the corridor will also connect highways, ghats, densely populated urban and rural areas, etc.
The NGSRCL is also chalking out the plan to implement the Ahmedabad – Mumbai route. This is being done via Light Detection and Ranging Survey (LiDAR), laser equipment which is fitted to a helicopter, and the ground survey will be undertaken. It will also be implemented for Delhi – Varanasi route and it is done to check what is the fastest possible route to the two destinations.
Till now, the LiDAR technology has been used in the highways sector for the ground survey and finalizing alignment and get approximate details on the ground in the quickest way possible. LiDAR along with GPS, Laser Data, flight parameters, and actual photographs will help to provide accurate survey data.
It has helped to construct highways due to its accuracy. LiDAR was also used in Mumbai-Ahmedabad High-Speed Corridor majorly because of its high accuracy.
