Custom build Caravan launched in Kerala to explore unexplored destinations

To boost domestic tourism in Kerala, Bharat Benz has introduced a brand new, one of its kind customised Caravan which will offer a comfortable stay and experience to explore unexplored destinations in Kerala.

Tourism Minister P A Mohamed Riyas and Transport Minister Antony Raju jointly inaugurated the vehicle at a city event.

Speaking to a leading news channel, the Tourism Minister said, “Caravan Tourism is going to provide the much-needed energy to the relentless efforts of Kerala Tourism to explore the unexplored destinations. This initiative will set a new trend in experiential tourism in the state.”

The swanky new caravan will have double bunk beds with a restroom and cutting edge shower fitting, it has a luxurious lounge equipped with recliner seats, a kitchen and a television. For cooking purposes, the caravan has an induction cooktop, microwave and refrigerator. The caravan will be available for rent and can be customised to accommodate 2 to 4 travellers.

Kerala tourism is trying to promote Caravan tourism in the state where this initiative will not only provide a thrilling experience to the tourists but also employment opportunities.

The caravans will have a special logo that will allow them to avoid extra on-road checks and pass freely through green channels.
