#BigBrewSky New Menu Experience

One of the friendliest places I have been in Bengaluru. Excellent place to hang out with friends. Make a reservation if you want to grab a poolside table. Big Brewsky is a microbrewery and is for somebody who is very particular about the fine and superior quality of drinks and service. A lively and excellent ambiance surely makes your visit memorable. Big Brewsky is located in Sarjapur Road, Bengaluru and is before Wipro Office.

Each drink and cocktail in their bar list is of exceptional taste and served to diners after a 24*7, beautiful work that the Bartenders put in. The Prime list is in line with people with diverse tastes and choices serves mostly Continental, Italian, North Indian and Thai cuisines. The added feature is the poolside seating area and the live performances hosted there. The poolside tables and the colorful fishes in the pool added to the beauty. The kind and gracious staff will add on to the overall experience, and all customers will surely have a magnificent time.

Big Brewsky now has more reasons to rejoice as celebrity Chef Sabyasachi Gorai (aka Chef Saby) has joined the group, and this has directed to the introduction of an all-new menu. Promises to offer dishes inspired by cuisines from across the world. Chef Sabyasachi Gorai of Big Brewsky – Chef Saby is the only recipient of the most coveted National Tourism Award, for “Best Chef of India,” Awarded by the President of India.

Saby has worked with the best star chefs globally, and Saby has a cult following in the culinary world through working with prominent places like Sodabottle Openerwala, Junglee Billee, Olive Bistro and many others along with his very own restaurant called Lavaash by Saby.

Let’s talk about menu now!

Chef Saby was cooking in the open air kitchen, and the bar was whisking up some interesting things. I started off with the Punch. Fruit Punch was my welcome drink, a classic mix of 5 ingredients and in this case Gin, berry juice, Elderflower, citrus, and spice. Well balanced, attractive in a glass and the perfect drink to have in your punch bowl.

Next tasted The Yellow Jacket (Classic Whiskey) Bourbon Whiskey, homemade turmeric syrup and lemon juice. There was Great Pretender too – Tequila, tropical juice, homemade purple syrup, egg white, fresh lime, and thyme.

Let me talk about vegetarian menu first.

Next up is Pizza! Thin Crust and wood fired pizza were good. The Garden City Pizza was the tribute to Bengaluru the Garden City, Roasted Bell peppers, broccoli, zucchini, corn and that topping of cheese.

The refreshing and healthful dose for summer! Apple Sun-dried Tomato Salad. It was mixed with fresh greens, fresh farm apple, feta cheese, kalamata olives and sun-dried tomatoes tomato vinaigrette.

Time for Chinese Bird’s Nest, a Vegetarian dish. A Chiffonade of potato nest with crunchy vegetables. A genuinely unusual dish which matched a real bird’s nest. Must try at Big Brewsky!

A delicious Black Rice Mushroom risotto of black Arborio rice slowly cooked with mushroom pate and parmesan, truffle essence. It was excellent, and aroma was brilliant.

The non-veg menu was also good as per my friend’s intimation. P.S I’m a vegetarian. You can enjoy the Bacon Wrapped Grilled Chicken Breast and Maple Chilly Glazed Duck Breast.

Red Chicken Pizza – Spicy Paprika Chicken, Jalapeno, olives and onions, simple yet very tantalizing is what I can’t about it. Have a try. You can eat African Suya Kebab (soft meat) and Iranian Seekh Kebab (lamb).

Hot Black Prawn – Prawns with the tail on, wok tossed in hot garlic sauce. Spice and Soy balanced assure you have the right mix of salty and spicy.

Time for the desserts, tradition to have it always! The chef’s bought in the Asura’s Devil Chocolate Cake, Tiramisu Dela Casa (Egg-less) and the famous Chocolate Fondant.

Asura’s Devil Chocolate Cake is a big lump of dark chocolate layered mud cake with cream cheese and chocolate frosting.

Tiramisu Dela Casa – Dwelling specialty for the coffee lovers in the house. Don’t miss it!

The Chocolate Fondant – With Vanilla Ice Cream and Dark Chocolate Lava.

Big Brewsky now has the perfect mix of excellent food, fabulous ambiance, some good drinks, fresh cocktails and beautiful live music too. So don’t go for food, go for ambiance, good music, beer, cocktails and for some lip-smacking starters!

Highly recommended! A must visit restaurant! Be sure to make a reservation in advance to get seated. Thank you Team Big Brewsky for arching an enjoyable evening.
