ALT EFF – India’s one and only environmental film festival

All Living Things Environmental Film Festival (ALT EFF) 2022 is all set to attract cinema and environmental enthusiasts from all over the country and abroad!!

Started in 2020, this is the country’s one and only film festival focusing on environment and the 2022 edition is all set to  begin on 17 November 17 and will end on November 27, 2022

This year, the festival will show 55 films (the feature, short, and animated categories, from India and abroad), and all will be screened virtually.

The jury that helped in shortlisting the movies included eminent names from the cinema world such as Kiran Rao (Indian film producer) and Amit Masurkar (film director).

The film festival aims to bring natural beauty and wonders of earth in the wide screen and also create awareness about the environment and social issues.

The festival also talks on current issues such as climate change and environmental conservation, among others.

The virtual screening will be available on a ‘pay-as-you-feel’ model. Not only this, the festival will also have screenings of movies in major Indian cities.

Films such as All That Breathes by Shaunak Sen and Into Dust directed by Orlando Van Einsiedel (Academy Award winner) and Neighbird  would be played.
