Ahead of Dubai Expo, Dubai eases travel restrictions

After a year without tourism, expo etc, the Dubai Expo is all set to welcome guests from all around the world. And according to the latest reports, the

Indian travellers with a tourist visa or work visa are allowed to enter UAE without too many travel restrictions during this period said UAE Ambassador to India, Dr Ahmed Albanna.

Furthermore, the UAE has even put a mechanism where they are issuing tourist visas for those who wanted to visit the Dubai Expo. It is being said that around 25 million people are expected to visit the Dubai Expo and more than 180 countries are going to take part in the event. The ambassador also said that the timing of the Dubai Expo coincides with the 50th Anniversary of UAE.

UAE has also allowed travellers from India, Bangladesh, Namibia, Vietnam, Uganda, Sierra Leone, South Africa, Nigeria, Sri Lanka, Pakistan, among others and has lifted restrictions for fully vaccinated travellers from September 12.

The Dubai expo is going to be held at Dubai Exhibition Center and it is one of the top expos that people around the world look forward to.
