Recently we covered an article where we mentioned that Thailand will open to business travellers and locals from July 1, however, as per recent reports. Thailand is planning to open 5 of its touristic Islands namely Phuket, Koh Phi Phi, Koh Samui, Koh Tao and Koh Phangan from August.
Thailand is one among the 15 countries that are marked safe to travel by the EU due to its low infection rate and strict rules from the kingdom.
While domestic travel has gradually begun since July 1, where many hotels and flights are providing a discount, the country is starting its 5th phase of unlocking measures. Apart from Phuket, Koh Phi Phi, Koh Samui, Koh Tao and Koh Phangan, more Islands such as Surat Thani, Phuket, and Krabi will be open to tourists in coming days.
The country of Thailand is now open for domestic travel where every hotels and restaurant can serve food, alcoholic beverage until 12 in the night, shopping mall, stores, exhibition centres, sauna and massage centres should be open till 22:00.
Currently, In Thailand, there are a handful of new cases and that has prompted authorities to reopen the famous tourist destination in phases. With the government introduction of Safety and Health Administration (SHA) certificate that recognises tourism businesses including hotels, spa and restaurants, it will be useful for tourists to visit the place as they will be certified.
Tourists can also use Thai Chana application that will help you get information on the establishments which are certified by the government. The app is backed by the Royal Kingdom of Thailand and is a very helpful application if you plan to visit the country.
